A few months ago I was at a dinner after my good friend Joel’s wedding in Denver and I was seated next to a Stan James. We began talking and soon enough realized we had both lived in New York City and Berlin as well as being avid Quantified Self nerds. Stan built a really neat tool called LifeSlice which is a Mac app that takes a photo of you and a screenshot of what you are working on every few minutes, tracks how much you’ve typed, and how far you’ve dragged your mouse. It’s now one of my favorite QS apps out there. After using it consistently for the past summer, I’ve been pretty entertained by some of the photos it’s captured.
